DELIVERY AND PICK UP OPTIONS
We currently offer delivery and pickup service to communities in downtown Dartmouth, Halifax and the South Shore up to Chester Basin
Shipping
Shipping is through Canada Post and rates are calculated based on the size and weight of your order.
Delivery
If your address is within the catchment area for local delivery you should see a local delivery option for $7.00. Free home delivery applies to orders over $200. Deliveries occur on specific days of the week for your area, so make sure to note when to expect your delivery. If you feel you should be within our range and are not seeing the option for local delivery, please contact us at tyler.haut@foodpeople.ca.
Currently offering limited local delivery between Halifax/Dartmouth and Chester every second Wednesday.
Order Deadline is 5pm on Tuesday for Wed delivery.
Pickup
In the shipping section you will also see options for picking up your order free of charge. Choose the location nearest to you and make note of the day and time range that pickups occur for the selected location. You must pick up your order the same day it is dropped off. If you cannot, or plans change please contact us at tyler.haut@foodpeople.ca at least 1 day in advance, and we will try to work out other arrangements.
List of Current Pick Up Locations
- Noggins on Coburg: 6124 Coburg Rd, Halifax, NS. Pick up is every second Wednesday between 9am and 8pm. Orders must be placed before 5pm on Tuesday. For store info call (902) 423-1377.
- Halifax Brewery Market: 312-1496 Lower water St. Pick up is every second Saturday between 8am and 1pm. Orders must be placed before 5pm on Tuesday.
- Food People Home: 2070 Hwy 329, Hubbards NS. Please call or message to arrange pickup time (if you live in Hubbards, I usually drop it off for you).
- Imperfections Cafe: 54 Queen Street, Chester NS. Pick up every second Wed 3-4pm, or Thursday 10am -4pm. Orders must be placed before 5pm Tuesday
