Dear Food People,

My family and I are taking a 4 month sabbatical to pause, reflect, and enjoy some time together. This means I will shut the store down on January 15th. The current plan is to reopen on June 15th 2026, but who knows where this great journey will lead us! During this time I will think about future planning and what Food People might look like moving forward. If you are inclined to offer feedback, I would love to know what you love, want to see more of, or would like to see done differently with regards to this service.

What this also means is that there will be sales! But, it also means certain products will become limited and unavailable. I plan to keep most popular items in stock for as long as I can, and if there is anything you want in greater quantity before I go, this can be arranged. Be on the lookout for different sales on products popping up on this page.

Delivery/ pick up Info:

Next round of deliveries and pick ups are Dec 17, 31, and Jan 14th (Saturday pickups at the Halifax Brewery Market are on the Saturday directly following these dates).

As always, please have orders in by 5:00pm Tuesday evening for Wed./Sat. orders.

Pick up option at the Halifax Brewery Market

Orders can be picked up from 8am - 1pm every 2nd week from the friendly volunteers at the market's Information Booth, located inside the Put'aliewey Room. See above for specific pick-up dates.

Halifax pick-up location at Noggins on Coburg

We will be continuing our orders for pick-up at the Noggins on Coburg every 2nd Wednesday. The pick-up window is between 10:00am until closing time at 8:00pm.
